What Can I Do If I’m At Risk for Thymus Cancer?
If you have a known diagnosis of certain immune system disorders such as myasthenia gravis, red cell aplasia, or hypogammaglobulinemia, you should check with your doctor about testing for thymus tumors. A simple CT (computed tomography) scan of the chest can be done. This would likely show the presence of any thymic tumors.
